Ster Kinekor to distribute Warner Bros. Interactive games in SA

Batman: Arkham series, Mortal Kombat, and LEGO to bolster Ster Kinekor stable

Ster Kinekor Entertainment announced today (6 August 2012) that they have reached an agreement for the exclusive distribution of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE) in South Africa, effective as of 1 September 2012.

This adds to the Ster-Kinekor stable titles such as Mortal Kombat, Batman: Arkham series, and LEGO: Lord Of The Rings to their stable.

WBIE is a division of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group, and is a publisher, developer and distributor of gaming titles for both internal and third party publishers.

“We are delighted to expand our successful partnerships with another exciting Studio, and hope to bring more gaming entertainment to our plethora of gaming enthusiasts in South Africa” said Ster Kinekor Entertainment Chief Executive Officer Mario Dos Santos. “We have enjoyed a productive relationship with all of our publishers within our territory over the years and we will continue to strive to be the distributor of choice”.

Ster Kinekor Entertainment also distributes for Sony Computer Entertainment Enterprises, SEGA, THQ, Bethesda, Capcom, Konami, and D3Publisher.
