Assassin’s Creed 3 PC release date announced
A man in a red coat will be able to deliver your red coat stabbing simulator
Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed III will be hitting PC on 23 November 2012 in the UK, which probably means the same for us in South Africa.
PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will launch on 31 October 2012.
Assassin’s Creed III introduces us to a new ancestral protagonist, and will likely mark the beginning of the end of Desmond’s story arc in the series.
Connor Kenway is the stabbing specialist – but that’s just his white man name. Having been born to an English father and Native American mother of the Mohawk tribe, his birth name is Ratohnhaké:ton (pronounced Ra-tohn-ha-ke-ton). Historically, the Mohawk tribe sided with the British during the war of independence.
The game is set during the American war of independence, and sees Connor working both sides against each other, while also fulfilling typical Assassin tasks, such as thwarting the nefarious plans of the Templars (or whatever they may turn out to be called in Assassin’s Creed III).
The game also boasts Ubisoft’s Anvil Next 3D engine, which you can have a look at in action below.
