Video game store owner auctions life on eBay

Bid to buy video game store owner’s life

A Florida resident, Shane Butcher, is selling his life on eBay.

While you can’t necessarily control him, you do get all his assets for a hefty asking price.

$3.5 million (R28,5 million) to be exact, and what makes the deal interesting is that Butcher is the owner of a video game retail store chain, R.U. GAME?

Successfully bidding and “winning” his life will grant you three stores and all its current stock, along with his house and condo, three cars, three kayaks and rare game collection.

Butcher’s listing notes that all of his employees have promised to “give 110% in helping the new owners with the transition” and a personal vow to stay on as a consultant for six months.

So if you’re interested in jumping into the shoes of someone else and owning some video game stores, head over to eBay and place your bid.
