You haven’t even played Borderlands 2 yet, but you can already look forward to playing one, two, three, four “big, original, themed, fully built out” DLC expansions when you’ve finished playing the game. Then you can start over and play everything again. You’ll never not be playing Borderlands 2 ever again, or at least until Borderlands 3.

Outed last week, the Borderlands 2 season pass will get you all four DLC expansions for 2400 Microsoft Points or $30 (around R250), but the DLC will also be sold separately at 800 MSP / $10 (R85) a pop. The four DLC add-ons are expected to launch by June 2013.

“These are all big, original, themed, fully built out campaign DLCs,” Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford told Polgyon. “This isn’t just ‘here have a couple of guns.’ We’re working our asses off [on it].”

These four DLC expansions do not include the Mechromancer class DLC, a free pre-order bonus that’s scheduled to drop on or around 16 October, according to Pitchford. For those of you who don’t get those pre-orders in on time, the Mechromancer will also be available to buy for 800 MSP / $10 (R85).
