Far Cry 3 is to be taken seriously as one of the biggest games of the year, but Ubisoft are maintaining a good sense of humour with the upcoming sequel.

The latest trailer shows the pre-order incentives for Gamestop (a US game retailer chain), which gives you access to some exclusive missions, but besides that, the video is pretty bizarre.

Showing off bomb-strapped monkeys, lots of explosions and some pretty hilarious narration, the trailer gives a different side of the “survive-or-die” tone of Far Cry 3 set by earlier trailers.

Far Cry 3 takes players back into the sun-kissed tropical setting the series is known for. Running on Ubisoft Montreal’s impressive Dunia 2 engine, the game is set to feature a sandbox environment, allowing players to take advantage of their large open-world in order to approach situations in a number of ways – not to mention looking absolutely gorgeous.
