Megarom Interactive, distributor of Borderlands 2 and F1 2012 in South Africa, has announced that the games should now be available at SA retail on Wednesday, 26 September 2012.

It appears that some stores in Johannesburg already have their stock, but in the interest of fair business practice for outlying regions, sales will only be released on 26 September so that all involved have a fair shot at making a profit from these highly anticipated games.

Megarom’s full statement from their Facebook page:

With regards to Borderlands 2 and F1 2012, we are receiving our stock and we’re shipping it out as quickly as possible to stores around the country. In the interest of fair business practice we’ve asked the stores to hold onto the stock until early next week so that outlying stores are in-line with Johannesburg.

Due to us receiving the stock earlier than expected we will now be launching Borderlands 2 and F1 2012 on Wednesday 26th September.

Again we apologise for the inconvenience caused.
