Mass Effect Trilogy box-set announced for PS3, PC, Xbox
PS3 is finally getting the first Mass Effect game
BioWare has announced that they’re putting all three Mass Effect games into one “premium foil box”, and shipping them out in time for Christmas. All you have to do is put a ribbon on it and you’re sorted for the holidays.
The three-pack includes Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3, although it’s not clear for the moment whether or not previously released DLC will be bundled in.
Intriguingly, the Mass Effect Trilogy is confirmed for PC, Xbox, and PS3, meaning that BioWare has obviously decided to finally port the first game for Sony’s console.
Hey, it only took five years, and if you’ve already played the first and second games, you can think of it as a prequel – and prequels are totally trendy right now. You’ll be so trendy, and all your friends will envy you.
The Mass Effect Trilogy is scheduled to drop on 6 November for PC and Xbox and “later in the year” for PS3. Even trendier.
No pricing has been confirmed yet.
