Treyarch and Activision have finally released the anticipated video for the zombie mode in Black Ops II.

The video was revealed in conjunction with a preview event held by Activision, and shows a lot of the stumbling undead, glowing eyes and face-shooting.

In addition to the video, details regarding the zombie modes available were also revealed at the event.

Tranzit: Tranzit makes up the main Zombies mode. The mode supports four-player co-op and lets players freely traverse the biggest zombie map in the history of CoD zombies. The goal is to rack up kills and survive as long as possible. A bus is used to travel to new areas, although while the bus makes moving around quicker, it can also make for a tough situation that’s hard to escape.

Survival: Survival is the traditional zombie mode, where players will defend one part of the Tranzit map, accumulating points, building fortifications and unlocking new areas.

Grief: Grief is a new eight-player mode which pits two teams against each other. The opposing teams cannot shoot each other, as the goal is to see who can survive the longest against the zombie hordes.

Zombies mode will also offer full multiplayer-style stat-tracking, leaderboards and custom game setup options, as well as new zombie types.

Black Ops II is set to launch worldwide on 13 November 2012.
