Just in time for Obsidian’s Project Eternity Kickstarter campaign passing its halfway mark, the RPG has also garnered the support of more than 50,000 backers, and that means a new “mega dungeon” has been added to the game. Quid pro quo, as they say.

Appropriately enough then, a new incentive has been announced – when there’s $2.4 million in the pledge bank, Obsidian will also add enchanting and crafting to the RPG.

For the moment, though, players can look forward to adventuring down the Endless Paths of Od Nua, “an ancient network of cobbled trails that wind through arches of dense overgrowth, twisting within the confines of a high castle wall as they make their way to the gates of iron-shuttered towers that jut forth from the interior.”

But wait, Obsidian isn’t done adding to the experience. As of right now, the dungeon will include three subterranean levels, but an additional level will be built on for every 2500 additional backers from here on out.

The campaign has two weeks left on the clock before time runs out. Remember, if you don’t back Project Eternity, that gaping hole in the Endless Paths of Od Nua will be on your conscience.
