Just in time for the pre-Xmas savings period, Alienware has finally launched a local online shop. Ha, like you were really saving your money anyway.

As officially announced today at rAge (5 October 2012), the new local portal, www.alienware.co.za, features the full range of Alienware products, including the M14x, M17x, and M18x series, as well as headsets, mice, and keyboards, all priced in South African Rands with free shipping on all items.

“At Dell, we listen to customers, value their feedback, and adapt our approach based on these needs. Meeting our customers’ needs has always been Dell’s priority – since its inception in 1984. The feedback from customers suggested a need for more options and variety of the Alienware brand available in South Africa, so that users can select the unit that meets both their needs and their pockets,” said Gavin Slevin, Dell South Africa.

“All products purchased on the website come with the same warranty as those purchased in retail. This means that they will receive Dell’s three year, next business day warranty. Unless otherwise specified on the website, you can expect delivery within 72 hours of purchase anywhere in the country. If the product is not in stock, it will be delivered in approximately three weeks.”
