Angry Birds Star Wars in development?

Rovio teases image of Jedi Angry Bird

Fear leads to anger, anger leads to… an Angry Birds Star Wars game? That’s what Angry Birds developer Rovio seems to be suggesting, after the studio tweeted a link to what looks pretty much exactly like an Angry Bird Jedi, and asking “Who could this be?”

The Acrimonium Falcon, maybe? Oh, somebody had to say it.

The people at Rovio aren’t saying much more for the moment, although all will apparently be revealed at a special event at Toys ‘R’ Us in Times Square, New York on Monday night. That’s when a pig dressed as Darth Vader will rise up over the Manhattan skyline and tell everybody that, “Red Bird, I am your father.” Or maybe not.

Whatever else, if Angry Birds Green Day is a thing, I can’t think of a single reason why Angry Birds Star Wars isn’t. And the original trilogy is way better than Green Day, anyway, everybody knows that.
