God of War: Ascension Special and Collector’s Editions revealed

The launch is still months off, but you might want to start saving up for God of War: Ascension already – Sony has officially parted the mists of destiny and revealed the Special and Collector’s Editions of the game, and they’re hotter than a Phlegethon beach party.

The Collector’s Edition features:

• The ultimate GoW collectible – an 8″ Kratos figurine
• Premium steelbook game case
• Double XP bonus for multiplayer and a DLC pass to unlock all future DLC for the game at no additional cost (more to follow on these soon)
• Mythological Heroes Multiplayer Pack (includes Perseus, Orion, Achilles, and Odysseus)
• Official game soundtrack (digital version)
• PS3 dynamic theme and an avatar pack

The lesser Special Edition includes all the same stuff, minus the statue and the Mythological Multiplayer Pack.
