A gay and lesbian dating sim has found traction on Kickstarter, and in just over a week has already exceeded the funding goal set out by the campaign.

Obscurasoft’s Coming Out on Top is set for a Windows, Mac and Linux release thanks to the current funding achieved.

The story revolves around a college guy who comes out to his best friends, but the night of the confession, he receives interest from a mysterious stranger. “The story is a comedy with a touch of romance, lots of drama, and laced with erotic situations,” says Obscurasoft.

Obscurasoft needed $5,000, which they acquired with ease, and added a stretch goal of $8,500, which would help the developers add more intimate scenes to the game and add options for more different types of people.

Well, they got that too, and have now added another stretch goal of $13,000, which will help the devs add an “illicit affair” to the game, as well as more outfits.

There is currently a demo available, and you can support the Kickstarter campaign. The funding round ends on 31 January 2012.
