During E3 back in June 2012, you may recall Square Enix’ spellbinding reveal of their Luminous Engine. The engine was shown rendering in real-time scenes from the Final Fantasy universe in a segment titled “Agni’s Philosophy”.

We have now been given a peek at the level of detail and customisation the Luminous Engine is capable of achieving – all in all, a technical wonder.
