Virtual hitmen hired to kill son’s addiction

In-game hitmen were hired to take out hardcore gamer

Chinese MMO news

The father of a game-addicted man hired virtual hitmen to defeat his son online, in order to wean him off the games.

Xiao Feng (23) started playing games from his teen years, which then negatively affected his grades and job opportunities, according to his father.

Frustrated at his son’s rut, the father hired other players to hunt down his son and kill him – in the game of course.

“He will probably lose interest in the game, thus turning their attention to find work,” said Xiao’s father.

Xiao himself was quoted saying: “I can play or I cannot play, it doesn’t bother me. I’m not looking for any job—I want to take some time to find one that suits me.”
