Dinosaurs invade Half Life 2 in Jurassic mod

While looking at some of the best mods of 2012, another upcoming mod is worth taking a look at, as it combines two of the best things in history: Half Life 2 and dinosaurs.

The Jurassic Life mod from developer DUTANe, throws players back onto the infamous Isla Nublar as one of the safety officials of Jurassic Park.

“We looked at the gaming aspect and at the same time worked on making the levels, characters, events recognizable… make parallels between the original storyline and the modification one, and get the feeling of reviving some [of the movie's] moments,” says the mod page.

A trailer for the mod has been released, which while still a work in progress, shows off the gorgeous levels and settings created. The dinosaurs, while a little stiff, look good too, and the team asks for any volunteers to help push to the mod to completion.
