Fan-made Street Fighter render shows action through Ryu’s eyes

Street Fighter has stuck with its 2D perspective since the series’ first release in 1987, but it’s interesting to think what the game would look like from a first-person angle.

While we were all too lazy to do anything about our curiosity, Brazilian animator Pipoca created a 3D render of a first-person Street Fighter.

The result is something pretty amazing; you see through the eyes of series hero Ryu as he deals some damage to some concrete blocks via his powerful kicks and furious punches.

A first person Haduken puts the cherry on top of a great fan-video.
