Sega delivers a release date for The Cave

Subterranean adventure game The Cave has been given a release date by publisher Sega – 22 January 2013.

The platformer will be launched on the Playstation Network and Nintendo eShop for Wii U, while Xbox 360 gamers will get it on 23 January via Xbox Live.

The game will arrive on Steam on 23 January as well, and will be available for $14.99 or 1200 Microsoft points.

The Cave is the brainchild of Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion creator Ron Gilbert, and Double Fine Productions, the award-winning studio behind Psychonauts and BrĂ¼tal Legend.
