Codemasters’ racing sequel gets a street date

Codemasters has announced that Grid 2 will arrive on 21 May 2013, returning break-neck racing action to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

A Grid 2 Special Edition will also be available for pre-order, which features extra content redeemable through download on PSN, Xbox Live and PC.

Fans of one of the best racers this generation gave a huge cheer when Codemasters announced the sequel to Racedriver: Grid.

Using the EGO Game Technology Platform, GRID 2 aims to bring a new level of realism to AI, damage, visuals and their acclaimed “rewind feature”, which has been used in many other racers today.

The sequel will feature a single-player career mode, split-screen and online components, along with deep customisation options.
