Cape Town gamers get weekly game tournaments

Wize Wednesday’s brings game tournaments to Cape Town’s Trenchtown

A number of social gaming tournaments have been announced, and are set to be hosted by Cape Town’s Trenchtown Caribbean Restaurant.

Located in Observatory, Trenchtown will house the Wize Wednesdays events, which will comprise of Xbox 360 tournaments that will run through February and March 2013.

The first event is on 6 February 2013, and is a FIFA 13 tournament with sponsored prizes. Also on the cards are Gears of War: Judgment, Black Ops 2, Forza Horizon and Guitar Hero tournaments.

Xbox 360 Tournaments

  • 6 Feb: FIFA 13 Tournament with sponsored prizes.
  • 13 Feb: Gears of War 3 Tournament with sponsored prizes.
  • 20 Feb: Black Ops 2 Tournament with sponsored prizes.
  • 27 Feb: Forza Horizon Fastest lap competition with sponsored prizes.
  • 6 Mar: Rocksmith and Guitar Hero Social.
  • 13 Mar: Variety evening Kinect games and lots more.
  • 20 Mar: Gears of War Judgment.
