Xbox 720 announcement coming soon?

Following the reveal of the PS4, Microsoft’s reply is expected to happen in April.

Unspecified “industry developers” have said that the next Xbox iteration will be announced at a one-off event, which will take place in April, according to CVG.

In addition to the rumours surrounding Microsoft’s unannounced reveal event, a senior Sony official, who asked to remain anonymous, said that the company’s PS4 announcement “caught Microsoft off-guard” and they “definitely ruffled some feathers”.

From Microsoft’s side, the company’s community spokesperson Larry Hryb (Major Nelson) cheekily tweeted: “Announce a console without actually showing a console? That’s one approach.”

Looks like the next-gen console race has begun – and Sony’s reveal has left everyone wondering what Microsoft’s next move will entail.

My money is with the PS4. I love not to have to pay to play games online, regardless who ends up having the longest……

Agree. I don’t like to pay to play online. Ps4 is easy to develope for now and games will run smooth on it. Microsoft can kiss my hairy ass :)
