Mweb provides spoils for Gauteng Provincial Champs

Mweb has revealed the prizes that will be on offer for the 30th Gauteng Provincial Championships, which is set to take place on the 30th  and 31st of March.

The Mweb 30th Gauteng Provincial Championships will feature a number of cash prizes, along with a special commemorative t-shirt for all those who register on time.

The cash prizes accumulate to R10,000, and are distributed as follows:

Dota 2:

First prize: R2,000.00 per team
Second prize: R1,700.00 per team
Third prize: R1,300.00 per team

FIFA 13:

First prize: R1,250.00 per player
Second prize: R750.00 per player
Third prize: R500.00 per player

StarCraft II: HotS:

First prize: R1,250.00 per player
Second prize: R750.00 per player
Third prize: R500.00 per player

In addition to the cash prizes, there are medals and provincial colours which will be awarded.

Registrations will close on the 19 March 2013. Players who wish to compete in any of MSSA’s Championships are advised to complete their annual registration forms so that they may register as “Registered Players” as soon as possible. Late entries will be accepted only in exceptional circumstances.

Hosting Club: University of the Witwatersrand Wargames Club, Johannesburg

Venue: Bozzolli Hall, Wits University, Empire Road, Johannesburg

Date: 30 & 31 March 2013

Entry Fees: R50.00 per Registered Player per game

Computers: Bring your own
