Free ADSL data in South Africa
Many South African ISPs are offering consumers free ADSL accounts to give them a taste of their ADSL network’s performance
Many South African Internet Service Providers (ISPs), including MWEB, FNB, Axxess, Afrihost, Imaginet, and Web Africa are offering free ADSL accounts to consumers to test out their service.
FNB Connect is offerings FNB clients up to 5GB of free ADSL data. FNB Connect registered customers also get unmetered data access to any FNB websites like FNB Online, FNB Connect and eBucks.
Afrihost has long offered new and existing customers 1GB of free ADSL data without any obligation.
Not to be outdone, Imaginet is giving away 10,000 GB of free 5GB accounts, which the ISP explains comes without any obligation and without any catch.
MWEB is offering consumers a free 7 day uncapped ADSL trial account without any obligation. The free MWEB trial is available at speeds of 1Mbps and 4Mbps. MyGaming recently caught up with MWEB to learn more about the trial ADSL accounts and how they benefit gamers.
Axxess has joined in the free ADSL fun, and is offering a 3GB trial account for a month without any risks.
If you live in the Eastern Cape and like KFC, you can get 4GB of free ADSL data from Axxess by spending R40 or more at the fast food chain. Only one account per ADSL line is allowed.
Web Africa is offering free 5GB accounts which last 14 days and give unlimted full access to their FreeZone for gaming related downloads over and above the 5GB of trial data.
A special mention of SAOL’s promotion which offers ADSL subscribers 10GB of free data with any ADSL line purchased from the ISP.
