PS3 mandatory firmware update 4.55

The latest PS3 firmware update is required to use online services

From 6 February 2014, Sony will be pushing out a mandatory PS3 firmware update, version 4.55

Full details of the firmware have not been communicated, but the Japanese PlayStation site indicates that the update brings software stability and will be required for using online services.
