MyGaming Steam Community

Am so confused between MyGaming community (MyGamCom) group and MyGaming.co.za (MyG) group on Steam. As a relative novice/infrequent user in both Steam and MyGaming, could someone please explain.

Edit: Ignore me. I just read the clear, obvious and detailed explanation by @mottamort back on page 77.

So, now that I've proven my idiocy, do I still qualify for an invite to the general myGaming group? If so, http://steamcommunity.com/id/gregredd :-)

I've received the same link from Paplepel (not sure if he is on mygaming...). If you click the link and don't have decent security software installed you'll also start sending links like that.

Not sure exactly how it works, since Paplepel was still in control of his account, unless he sent the link intentionally.

I clicked the link because I trusted him, luckily my antivirus stopped anything from being installed...

Seems its a trojan its get send automatic even if the person is offline. So those people that send you the link probably don't have an antivirus/spyware installed.
