ooh i just started collecting figurines etc as you know. you dont perhaps have any blackwidow statues/figures? otherwise im into the whole avengers set up. gimme a shout with what you have and prices :)

Sadly I do not have any Blackwidow stuff (except maybe for trading cards). Should have a comic or three with her in it if you are into framing stuff. Currently the only Marvel statue I have is of Ultimate Invisible Woman : Sue Storm (a bust model). But let me go look into my little room of wonders and come back to you.

OOH Maybe you have the comic book cover im looking for for her. everywhere else seems to be out of stock. Here is the link to the cover im looking for specifically:

Comics are sleeved and boarded, and was put away in comic boxes in a dry area, so should be as good as new. Some have not even been opened to read. Trades are mostly all in their plastic sleeves. Statues are either on display or in their boxes.

Small list stuff:

DC : Superman, Batman, Detective Comics, Justice League, Justice Society, Green Lantern, Supergirl, 52, Adventure Comics etc.
Marvel : Spider-Man, Avengers, Thor, Captain America, Wolverine, X-Men etc.
Trades : Walking Dead, Marvel collections (Avengers, Iron Fist), DC Collections (Superman, Batman, JLA) and more.
Statues : Batman B&W (got a few), Batman & Superman statue set from Public Enemies, Sue Storm Bust and a few others.

Will do, busy pulling up a list. 52 I should have the full run. Iron Fist is hardcover graphic novels, 4 of them if I recall right. JSA is the run with those nice Alex Ross covers. JLA came out at the same time as the JSA run, and I remember there was the cross overs between the two as well sometime during that run.

uhm nope, one of the other carbonite members pm'd me and offered to make me one similar to the detolf. i just need a two teared one for now... im supposed to be saving for my wedding but all these awesome figurines are coming out... and i just cant keep the black widow in the box anymore, she needs to be on display. so will see what he comes up with if he can make a smaller version for me then i will take the plunge and get a detolf

hahahaha for science purposes i live in a security complex so if you can get in the gate, you are welcome to try to get into the apartment as well cause i have viscious ninja kitties keeping guard ;)

2 days left of the Image firsts Humble Bundle 2. Get in there before it expires.

On a side note, if anyone here likes to listen to podcasts, go listen to Rachel and Miles X-plain the X-Men. 40-ish minute podcast going through the major developments of the X-Men books over the years. Well worth the listen.
 
What can you guys recommend in the same line as Sin City, The Watchmen kinda comics. I got Hellblazer but its not for me, I think I saw the movie first and well, just dont like it. Read about 3 of 4 books.

What can you guys recommend? I like those dark kinda stuff, but of course, unlike newspapers, where the good sometimes win.

Sin City and The Watchmen are amazing comics.

Here's some stuff I'd recommend:

V for Vendetta (a little bit 80s, but nothing wrong with that)
Dark Knight Returns
Ronin
Daredevil: Born Again
Spider-man: Kraven's Last Hunt
100 Bullets (though this one may take a little investment, 12 volumes in total)

Most of these books are written by the same guys who did Watchmen and Sin City respectively, so they should be quite relevant to what you're looking for.

I can 100% Vouch for Avenged and 100 Bullets... Do yourself a favor... It starts out a bit strange, but wow... Once i got into it, i couldn't put it down... all 100 of them...

I know you may be a bit hesitant here, but also pick up The Walking Dead... Its so much more than a Zombie Comic... Im addicted... the second Wednesday of every month has be on the Google play store buying the new issues...

Dark stuff that's excellent:
Preacher - read this at your own risk. If you are easily offended, then I guarantee that you will be, especially with religious themes.
Garth Ennis' Punisher (Garth Ennis wrote Preacher)
The Boys - I haven't read it personally, but Avenged vouches for it, so does my brother and Garth Ennis wrote it.
Swamp Thing (Written by Alan Moore) - This is easily as good as the Watchmen, unsurprising that it's written by the same guy.

Those are the best recommendations that I can give that haven't already been provided.
