i recall many such n00bs during the PS4 competition. they rocked up like a day or two before it ended with a single "awesome comp, hope i win" post :D

That's the nice thing about activity comps, it excludes all those type of people

Agreed... I dont know if it has anything to do with the comps being earlier last year? Coz i think they started in Jan last year... Not that that should make a difference though? Also last year there seemed to be more "marketing" about the comps...

not sure but february is still just as early, but maybe it is a busy time for people working as it is end of the tax year etc.?

Yeah much less activity than that competition.

Top 50 is okay, doubt I'd ever make the top 25.
 
I've was worried i would completely be out of the running as last week we moved offices and i wasn't near my pc for most of the time. I just had to make a few more posts than i normally would and i'm back in the top 50.
 
I've been very busy at work this week so not been able to follow things as much as I'd like to. Luckily doesn't appear as if my position has shifted much.
