People think thats coming in the next patch. Though I'm not concerned about battle packs all I get are boosters.
I heard they want the community to pitch ideas for a new map. Also They still going to release the 6th dlc.
 
We will get premium events again with next patch and hopefully the night map, and then i think they will roll out more premium events. Man i want some CQ again i loved those in BF3

Apparently night maps aren't coming anytime soon. I really want to see the new maps for those old bf maps.
 
damn, this X2 score weekend really helped me lift me rank quite a bit. Currently at 93...damn, I never thought I'd get there. But this game, offers so much and I've really tried to play more styles, unlike BF4 where I mainly played engineer and some support. I've also tried to play more goal orientated.
BF3 was the first Battlefield I really got into online, played a bit BFBC2.

Also, these ppl complaining the game is a badly broken mess, I've got to say they are a bit full of it, sure there are some bugs and what now, but I think gamers should prolly first have a look at their own setup, windows up to date (pirate?), drivers, what other crap you've got installed.

I've seen the game is a bit finicky at times, had this issue where the game would stutter during gameplay, found out it was partly due to the Logitech keyboard / mouse software. Should prolly get that updated.

But yeah, its not perfect, but its a great flippen game. I'd pre order BF5 right now if I could.

I'll check this afternoon, its around ~30Gb, I think more... (got premium as well)

About your original Question, I'd say get the main game and see whether you like it, if you do, get premium on some sale. Sadly people in ZA dont play much on servers with DLC content....

Thanks for the feedback. I'm really just trying to find out how big of a download I will have to do once the game is installed. Only plan to buy next week some time.
 
Holy crap, I were off by a huge margin...damn, 60Gb!

Not sure where you hail from, Somerset West? Someone close to are bound to have the game.

My update folder is 32GB in size...can one delete that?

Well we run all the maps and dlc on our server with votemap, also BT games has Battlefield 4 premium for 235 i bought 2 this weekend for friends. and i think thye have BF4 normal for 255
 
With the addition of another product and a Kalahari voucher, I can get it for under R200.

Edit: Had to make up a price to be over R250 so that I could use a voucher. Got the game for R189. :)
