I thought it would be nice to have a place where we can chat, kind of like Thread Killer, but with more of a gaming focus, for slightly off topic discussions or news that's not big enough to justify its own thread, and perhaps to avoid some unnecessary thread necros. "whistling: What does everyone think? Let's see if it takes off, if it doesn't, so be it.

I just noticed that Dirt 3 is now without GFWL and they gave everyone who has it on steam the Complete Edition, so that's pretty cool.

Just saw that as well and might play it again. Since I have been trying to avoid all games with GFWL. And did not really play it much back when James gave us all keys for the game.
 
So Survarium, the MMO shooter from a Ukrainian studio whose developers worked on the STALKER series is set to realease on the 2de april. If this is true I don't know but would be intresting to test it out if I could.
 
War for the Overworld is releasing tomorrow, and it seems that just about nobody cares. I hope it gets good reviews at least so that people will take notice.
 
I'm so out of touch with game releases. Like Bloodborne appeared out of nowhere and I only know about it because of everyone else going crazy about it.

Totally with you, between trying to stay up to date with new/upcoming releases and gaming time, I rather use the time for gaming.

Also myg have not really helped with new releases. Just look at the games that came out this week and myg only has one game so you have to go search and see what is being released.

And just when I gave up on it over the weekend! I tried playing it and GFWL kept freaking out, probably because it's retired. So I was sad that I couldn't play it.

This fills me with lots of jam and custard joy. I WILL play it sometime soon!
 
Checked steam library not in my collection, wait didn't they can GFWL :wtf: ?
I bought my Galax gtx 960 last night should be here tomorrow ,hopefully it shows up before I leave the office at 11am or i'm gonna have to come back for it.

Bought minecraft. Did you guys know that it sold more copies than any other game ever??? I didn't.

And happy to report the gaming laptop I bought can indeed jam Skyrim as predicted by [MENTION=297]FarligOpptreden[/MENTION] . Better than expected actually...except for the loading new areas part....there I can feel that this has a HDD not a SSD as I'm used to.

Wonder if it'll run BF3...think it just might.

What laptop is it ?
 
Asus ROG gl551jm - i7 / 8gb / 860M (2gig)

Think its going to be borderline for BF3...esp at HD res and would certainly have to turn down all the settings
 
Decided to grab Vanishing of Ethan Carter on sale. If War for the Overworld is a let down, at least I'll have a backup :D
 
Dont know if I should post this here, Im selling my GTX 560 TI if anyone is interseted or knows anyone who is, I already put it up on Carbonite.
