Desktop Microphone (Standalone)

Hi Gamers,

I'm soon to be in the market for a new microphone, preferably one that sits on a desk/table etc.
I've been looking at headphone like the Logitech G230, but I don't need headphones as mine are working fine.

A colleague linked me to this: Samson Meteorite USB Condenser Microphone, so it's highly likely I'll go for it, but I also want to see what else is available before I decide.

Price range: relative to mentioned product.

I know decent mics cost a fortune, but I'm not recording music, it's going to used used for voice chatting in games or over Teamspeak.

I got the one with the stand legs. Best mic ever.great audio quality. I have received complaints from my mates that they can hear the crickets outside thats on the 1st floor and im on the 2nd. I would spend that cash over if I had the choice, I mean I have had this mic and headset for 2 years now and its still going strong.

That one costs double as much. I just want decent sound quality. Currently I have 2 headphones that I'm using: one with a mic and another without.
