Well there has been alot of Ranting in the MyBB forum but as a gaming site we are the best ones who will be able to assist the show i reckon

the verge is the most low budget gaming show i have ever seen, the presnters dont know anything about gaming, the suck at doing live demos, this is truly one of the worse gaming shows i have ever seen, cant hold a matchstick against scifi's ultimate gamer or cybernet

I cringe when they do live demos. They make games look so sh!t by being so sh!t at the game. A live demo is supposed to be informative and show what the game is like. Instead you spend 5 minutes watching the person struggle and fail to get out of the starting room and learn nothing from it.

I agree that its not the greatest live demos, its not easy playing on live TV though, its not as easy as it looks, throw in the fact that you have to host the show, do pre-prep with the producers and probably only have an hour or two to play the game before the show then shes not doing such a bad job. Also the other presenter also struggled a bit when he previewed batman and hes a gaming veteran.
