Gothic 1/2 were always games with a select fanbase. You either loved it or you hated it. Gothic 2 was, and still is, my all-time favourite game. Everything from the difficulty, to the influence you had on NPCs to earning your class. I loved becoming a Fire Magician. I loved finding that retarded sheep and working up 1,000 gold, going to the Monastery and saying, "'ello, I wants in nao!" and working to obtain my robes.

I loved going back to Khorinis and walking past the guards who at the start of the game were all, "Pff, no way are you getting in here, low-life." Flaunting muh sexy robes and saying, "You DARE stand in the way of a Magician of Fire?!" and watching them rapidly change their minds :D

The combat was awesome, the story was awesome :) Reviews have said that Risen has returned to G2's roots. I cannot, in any way, imagine myself not loving this game :)

GET IT!!!!!
 
Sorry, I picking up stompies here, but did the vid actually work/play?

Otherwise it may just have been an .exe file renamed to .avi.... Just a possibility.

well a 300mb exe is impossible that i have never seen :p unless its an installation program...
