Project Cars

Looks nice but i have a new problem now :(. Formatted my machine sunday and loaded my backups and what not and started project cars up and no saved career any more i have to start from scratch :(:cry:
 
Yeah, restarting a career is a right PIA. Especially as the save file stores your career progress and all your car setups and tweaks. Discovered that it's not stored together with the rest of the game files but in the userdata folder in Steam:

It won't say or show anything afaik, but upon closing the game it will synchronize with servers, and you'll see this progress until completed.

*if the game supports Steam Cloud

Can't say I've ever noticed it showing any sync to cloud progress when I close it. Is that pic in your post from your pCars install? I don't see Steam Cloud listed as an option on my view of the store page?

Sorry, not at home right now.

But I have my games/library in list view and when I exit the game(s) I was just playing I often spot it showing its synchronization progress, albeit for a second or two (dependent on the amount of data to upload).

Having only recently patched my game from 1.2 to 2.5.The cars are alot less twitchy playing with a controller and the ai has been cleaned up alot.
 
I finaly made it to Gt3 I missed my braking point and got black flaged for cutting the last corner on le mans with 3 min left.I put my race length to 1 percent and it was still two hours long, thank god for the ai driver.
 
Yup 2.1GB i started min when i dropped this post in the thread and it looks promising i see a new Audi themed DLC is also out will get it the end of the month
 
After the original game download - about how big is the rest of the download to go? Just so I know if I should let my client finish the 16gig now or wait till tonight in my free WA time.

Original game download? :confused:



You've bought and downloaded the game after DLC has come out, so it should all be included in one download, the beauty of Steam. It's not going to download base game and then updates follow, it will download what it needs to be current.
