Which platform are you getting MGSV on?

A question:

Can somebody clear up something for me please? The main protagonist in MGS 5 is Big Boss right? As opposed to MGS . . . MGS 2: SOL and MGS 4:GOTP.

Its my understanding that Solid Snake, Liquid Snake and Solidus Snake were all cloned from Big Boss?

Yep that's correct. Solidus was the only perfect clone of Big Boss though.

The last time I was this keen for a game was when GTA V was released. Before that it was Skyrim.

Just started with Ground Zero on the PS3 and I am loving it. Very happy to see its not as short as its made out to be with various missions, it's just in the same setting.
Kiefer Sutherland as snake is awesome!

There are as many spoilers in the new trailer, as there was in all the rest. Watch it, you won't get any story hints at all. Other than was we already know from the trailers that have already been released.

There is lot to do in ground zeroes alot more than most people think.
 
There is a website you can visit which has the complete story it is called Metal Gear Solid Timeline and it contains no spoilers of TPP.I have played all the games to death and I found a few things I had missed or forgotten.

So I was browsing the web looking for info in MGSV TPP and according to people whom have already got the game, as well as users on Reddit and NeoGAF, It appears that Phantom Pains introduction sequence is about 1 hour long. This does not come as a surprise as Kojima loves to give long introductions into his games.
Reading a little further it's alleged to be an hour of intense and amazing cinematography as well as gamely.

You know what? I've getting more excited the closer next week draws... Both Mad Max and TPP launching on 1 September! Great 8th wedding anniversary present for me - too bad my wife won't see me much during next week between these 2 games, guitar practice and work. I'll be sure to make it up to her somehow, though... ;)
 
We are in the final stages of the waiting period,this week has felt like a decade.I watched the launch trailer I could not help myself and now the hype is max level.

So there's a slight delay on the PC version in SA - only one day it seems, so still better than the original two weeks. :)
