My mouth is watering. I can't see why there isn't more hype for it.

I'm going to start poking random people and telling them about STASIS. Not only does it look amazing but it's made by South Africans. The whole world should know.

To be totally fair, it's kind of a niche genre. Even people who love point-and-click adventure games don't necessarily also love sci-fi horror. I'm super excited for the launch today, and I'm hoping the game sells heaps (THERE MUST BE A SEQUEL!), but it's definitely not for everybody.

For what it is, though, Stasis is amazeballs.

That's true. It is a niche genre.

I've been a big fan of Chris Bishoff's artwork for a long time. Even before he announced Stasis I was subscribed to his website. I think the whole isometric pre-rendered look is what draws me to the game the most. But then I play a lot of point-and-click adventure games and I like scifi. Oh man, I'm the target demographic. I guess I shouldn't start poking people randomly.

I'm the same as you, basically. I love point-and-click adventure games. I love isometric games. I love sci-fi horror games. It's like Stasis was made for meeeee.
 
I read about Stasis in their feature in the NAG magazine a while back and it looked awesome. I'm not usually a fan of isometric point and click games but will definitely be picking this up.

Well, I'm here now... Still no pricing on steam... I am conflicted... I have limited gaming funds these days, and I'm waiting for the re-release of Grandia II to hit 50% off (I have some steam wallet from selling cards).
 
I can't wait for the game, it has been on my to watch list for ages. It seems like it will be awesome.

I started the download and went to bed. So it's ready to play but unfortunately it's work time first. Silly work time.
 
Jim Sterling uploaded a YouTube vid on Stasis today only to take it down because it was unwatchably dark. He'll re-upload with brightness upped later. :cool:

OT: I don't know how this game passed under my radar, it looks great! I will check a few videos when I get home and make a decision.
