yeah this as well i have never been as sick as i have been lately like my immune system just doesnt catch a break !

Doc reckons my kid has rotavirus, which is apparently going around, he's had vaccinations for that, but Google tells me that pretty much everyone catches it at least once by the age of 5.

I think my wife and I have caught it now as well. Feeling really lousy, and at the moment I'm just drinking water, don't know if I can stomach food or even coffee.

Ya, I think when that happens, it's from dehydration, so we've been on a mission with Smecta and Rehydrat, and the doc gave us something else as well. Other than that, it's a virus, so there's nothing to take to make you better, so you just deal with some hectic gastro for a week
 
Wow guys, that rotavirus is no joke, I'm just getting better from a week of the worst gastro I've ever had in my life. Having kids is like having your own little plague monkey.

Shame, no wonder the poor kid was having such a lousy time while he was sick.

a tad late to this party but hey.

got 3 of the little buggers myself (2 planned, 1 oopsie) ages 5,2 and 8 months. Finally at a stage where I can game for a few hours late at night with minimal interruptions. really chuffed for the warmer weather. 2nd day back at school and no one is sick. crossing fingers.
