The only time i died was when i was over confident and took like 3 mobs at once
Yep ... sorcerers are ridiculously powerful - I've gotten as far as level 17 with mine ... and the damage output is insane ... but as far as armor goes, sorcs are so juicy they make Assassins and Rangers look like tanks.
I can take out two mobs relatively easily - if you cast your slowing and binding spells right - but 3 generally means a visit to the last obelisk you soul bound to.
One nice thing, at level 17 you get an area freeze spell - slows everything in a 15 meter radius. Just one problem ... which I discovered by accident.
DO NOT use it in a crowded area. I slowed down the two mobs attacking me ... but once the freeze effect wore off (6 seconds I think), I had 3 additional pissed creatures on my tail.

Gladiators get an AOE (7m) ability thats gotten me killed numerous times due to pathing mobs

The animation for that skill is pretty cool.

Does your DP points go away everytime you log off? If so thats a tad annoying....

I logged off (to the character select screen) briefly last night for dinner, when I logged back I still had my DP

I spent over 35k last night getting my Armorsmithing up... Yet at my level the Restless Plate set looks just as good if not better, without the waste of money waiting for the Durable Steel plate set to proc

geez, untick the damned option that says launch browser, and use the logout function...
Question is why is there such an option in the first place?

Lol. Since its not right there in you face how am i suppose to know it ever exists? but thanx ill disable it tonight.
I must say im warming up to the game. My Legion now has 3 members, a lvl 16 chanter, lvl 14 Ranger and lvl 14 Gladiator.

lol ... I found the option right at the beginning since I have this penchant for exploring anything with the word settings ... which the launcher certainly has 
My legion currently consists of me (with my Chanter and Templar - my Chanter is the leader, Templar is just a normal legionary), my best mate (also my only centurion) and a Polish girl from the UK.
I'm not going to go on a huge recruiting drive - I'm going slow and steady, basically getting to know the newbies and making sure they plan to stick around before grabbing my next recruit. I've had too many bad experiences in my GW guild by expanding too fast.
