So I've played my first 2 competitive games...Got our asses handed to us the 1st game but the 2nd game lasted 5 rounds and we ended up winning the final match to win 3-2. Was fairly intense and quite a bit of fun.

I would love to play it in a proper team as the whole random public players is definitely not going to work out in your favor in the competitive mode. 1 of the opposing team players quit half way into the final match, not quite sure what the punishment for that is but it should be harsh. I don't think they would have made a comeback but you don't drop your team like that, especially when everyone is still finding their feet in the competitive mode.

He is such a fantastic defense hero, absolutely love him.

Golden weapon...Mmm probably Soldier76.
It's gonna take awhile though, from what I've seen you only get 1 purple diamond thingy per match that you win and you need a total of 300 competitive wins to unlock it.

meh i play every night should be able to manage to get 300... as for Junkrat i personally believe he needs a nerf the range on his ulti is ridiculous when it explodes its litterally killed me as a pharah in the air without him jumping it, and his balls do 120 damage regardless of where they hit where as Hanzo arrow can do as little as 20 damage. but still the one hero i find completely broken is Mei, the fact that her ice block can stop almost any ulti is just junk

I doubt they would nerf him but yeah Mei needs a nerf.

Now on to some shit...

Played a competitive game last night, we were absolutely stomping the opposing team, having a blast when one of our players gets annoyed (Because he kept on losing out on kills...team game but wtf ever) and quits. After a while a message pops up saying we can leave the game and we won't be penalized or get a loss marked against our account. Anyway after the game concludes low and behold it counted as a loss? I mean really, why tell us it won't count as one but still gets added to your competitive screen as a loss.

Blizzard need to punish the fuck out of guys like that..he ruined the game and made the whole team get a loss because he was a whiny little bitch.

PLAYER CONDUCT:
Because of the more serious nature of the mode, penalties are more severe. In Competitive Play, leaving a game early or stepping away from your computer during a match will make you ineligible to join a new game until the original match has been completed. There is an option to rejoin an in-progress game—however, failure to rejoin will result in a penalty.

Continued infractions will lead to restrictions on future competitive matches. As the violations start to pile up, Competitive Play will be locked for an increasing amount of time. Completing matches without incurring further penalties will, eventually returning the account to good standing. But repeated violations can also result in a ban on Competitive Play for the current season—including the forfeiture of any rewards.
