Treyarchs next project CoD7:Cold War has been announced

i'll pass ! treyarch has always been a second class developer, none of their cod games were as good as the IW ones, hell even their spiderman games suck

Whoops, I didn't even bother clicking the link because I didn't really think it was worth my time. Humble apologies for my erroneous statement. :p

Neither did I. It says "COD7:Cold War" in the title of this Fred. :p

Meh.Treyarch.Nuff said.I think the reason they release the series like the is to make more money.Soon I see this franchise turning into a Need for speed kinda one before Shift saved it.

I concur. This is a franchise that's just going to burn out eventually, up until it eventually gets a reboot.

quick note. the Nam war happened during the cold war. might not have been US vs. USSR directly but Russia did supply North Nam with weapons and equipment

how the hell can you make an fps on a war where there was no military engagement??

It might not be a shooter, it might be a "spy" game where you have to gather intelligence like sending prostitutes to a weapons experts house in the hopes that you can capture some inconspicuous photos of them together, those pics will then be used for blackmail - either they give you the info or you show the pics to his wife and children.

It will be a game where not a single shot will be fired.

IN All honesty, I have the world's respect for Treyarch. Their previous titles were utterly crap, but with CODWAW they actually did quite nicely. I really enjoyed the game while playing AGASA league, but it was short lived in the end.

IN their defense, They were given a mere 7 months to do COD5, and considering the time-frame, I think they did an awesome job, and with COD7 and them having a full 2 years devtime, I'm sure we will be pleasantly surprised.
