Dragon Age *possible spoilers*

Stefan, where do I select Warden's Keep? It is installed, just not authorised. When I go ingame to the downloadable content tab, it doesnt show where I can activate it. Any help?

Yeah, some also like to use driver cleaner afterwards.

Another thing to check is whether you are running in admin mode and also try win xp sp3 compat mode.

Cleaning out your drivers isn't necessary, the installers for the drivers take care of the uninstall/upgrade process quite well, their earlier incarnations didn't. Rolling back drivers however, I would recommend cleaning the drivers out.

@Mephisto_Helix: You definatly need SP3. If your still running XP, SP3 is old enough for software devs to assume people have updated by now. Btw, I have two machines running SP3 at home and many at the office (in the process of upgrading to Win 7) and there are no mystical internet issues, the upgrade should be smooth. Double click installer, click install, reboot, done. Just saying that its a safe and recommended upgrade.

Been said already, but you ALWAYS need to make sure your graphics drivers are up to date before installing new games. Its a PC gaming tradition as old as the first Voodoo 3D cards, with good reason ;) If they aren't up to date and you get visual glitches or crashes in a game, you can almost immediately chalk it up to that.

Grats on your new CE Dragon Age, once you actually get playing, you'll quickly forget about these problems, probably about a whole lot else as well :D

It needs to show up in the first tab. Make sure the dragon age orings updater is set to automatic under services.

For me it would only show up after it had downloaded stone prisoner again. I also need to after purchasing WK download it again, the other items I could do the manual way but these didn't work.

Also since its not free you need to add $7 worht of BW points to buy it. You add points at the social site.

I haven't heard from Compu City yet. :( Going to give them a call in a while and with luck go pick it up later today. :)

Ok, have d/loaded and installed SP3 ..... now onto ze drivers. I thought this Nvidia was supposed to work on local? But anyway ...... getting closer at least :o

Nvidia is local.I got the new beta drivers a few days ago. They seem to be as stable as the latest WHQL ones.I'll test tonight once I get home.Gosh the wait is awfull!!!3 and a half hours to go

All is well :D No hiccups now that everything is up to date. And I love the game, big time ...... except for the control system. It's a touch confuzzling .... I thought it was mouse controlled 100%.

I love the fact that I can use both WASD and the mouse, I would of hated if it was mouse only :D

I still haven't got mine yet :( The flight with the games will only arrive at Bloem airport at about 16:00 so I'll probably get it just before 17:00 ... :(

You can control it via mouse 100%, they simply give you more options.

You can always right click to command your party where to move, but you can also control a single characters movement with WASD. By default, your party will follow the character you are directly controlling (free movement), very useful when simply moving around and travelling. Pressing H, or the gold walking icon top left disables free movement, useful for ambushes and full positioning control in combat.

If you zoom out to tactical view and press H (disables free movement of party members), you will have the traditional Baldur's Gate control set you are familiar with.

Personally, I use the tactical view in combat, but go third person and WASD when exploring.

Hold down right click to control the camera. Rotates the camera in tactical, turns and "free look" in third person.

I couldn't be happier with the controls because they are very flexible and should cater to everyone in all situations.

Hope that helps.

NOOOOOO!!! Stupid couriers took the wrong parcel and left all the Dragon Age CE's in Jhb, they will only be here tommorow morning. This sucks so much ass!!!! I couldn's stand the wait any longer and just got the vanilla version. Will think about getting the CE as well.
