Far from Ready. Been in the closed beta for nearly a month. I am under NDA, so as soon as its lifted will I write my views on this. For the most part, it has been fun, but frustrating as well...

Something of an off-topic question here, but can anyone provide any info about the old Star Wars : Galaxies? I see that Steam has it for $20, & I'm really tempted to get it. Is it playable from SA on our crappy connections (iBurst specifically), and is it actually worth playing at all?

Well, Star Wars Galaxies apparently used to be awesome until SOE stuffed it up with a completely game-changing update. Since then most players have abandoned it. Recently they merged a large number of servers into one or two, so from what I gather you shouldn't have issues finding people to play with. Whether you'll like it I honestly have no idea. I've been wanting to give it a try myself to investigate. But many people are sour towards it after SOE completely raped it.

Perhaps you should give the trial a go, first? If you have one of the new uncapped packages that shouldn't be a problem now, woot
