Has anyone here ever preorderdered Starcraft 2?

no and if you have you are pretty darn silly for pre-ordering something with absolutely no concrete release date as of yet
 
Nope. I did play one of the early betas while I was in Sweden though... :D

It must have been a very early beta, since that was over a year ago now.

Its not an issue if you don't have to pay till its available. But personally I won't order any blizzard game since they are overpriced compared to the other publishers. Will wait for bargain bin/steam specials for both diablo and star craft.
 
Well, if its up for pre-order at the regular R350.00/R399.00, then it might not be such a bad idea, as was the case with Modern Warfare 2, many that pre ordered it at R399.00 actually ended up paying only that and got a handsome discount before the price change.
 
i have a massive collection of games but have decided beforehand that i will be pirating this game and not buying it;

they just p!ssed me off so ridiculously with their delays and the removal of the LAN option ... not that i was going to LAN but i want the option if i'm buying a game which appeals mostly on the multiplayer side.

in short i'm not looking forward to this game anymore, they've hyped the crap out of it. so i'm not going to be adding it to my library of blizzard games after all and will definitely be pirating it instead.
 
Sadly, not me. Not much of a fan of RTS games as of late. Prefer the Command & Conquer 1 and Advance Wars approach to RTS gaming.

It's not. Zaps has R435 and BT R450 and Taketwo has price to be confirmed. Those are for the normal edition. Sorry but there is no way I am paying that price for a normal edition, that's the same price I am paying for the CE of mass effect.
 
I think I was excited about a sequel about 2 or was that 3 years ago... but delays and perhaps unrealistic expectations, means that I'm really not that excited for it, so I guess my answer is no.

Well, give credit where credit's due. The only Blizzard games i've ever Bought origional (and NON budget...) was Diablo 2 and Lord of Destruction. I must admit, no other company puts so much care into the presentation of their standard edition games.
