oh - and I'm pretty sure I've missed out on much goodness in GTK today by not being online ... but in my defense: I just woke up :D (stomach cramps is a bytche tho :/ )
 
why do you have stomach cramps? what've you been eating?

It's not that kind of cramps. It's muscular. i think it might have something to do with all these damn races that I didn't do a single bit of training for. :(

Luckily the last big one's on Sunday, then I can veg again until next year.

I have been told, extensively, how gruelling they are.

Mayyybbeee... instead of sitting here and chatting to us, you should be out there and get some training in ;)

And if you keep up the training instead of vegging out, you'll be prepared for next year :D

If I could walk or sit and concentrate for 30mins I would, trust me. My boss even sent me home :/

But yar ... last year we did the same events without a minute of training:

- Surfer's marathon: 17km beach run across 2 rivers
- Dispatch cycle race: 50km race
- Nahoon mile: 1.6km river swim

The Triathlon on sunday = 750m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run

Look on the bright side, at least we score free t-shirts :D
