Yeah played it till all the bugs kicked in at the start of the game it went in the trash the same day.

It is a pitty. The mod actually made this game very good. I read the forums and they all seem to enjoy the game now.
 
I remember this game, never got past the first few minutes. Kept getting owned by these huge frogs 'till I eventually gave up ...

This game was pretty hardcore. But I loved it. Still want to finish it.
 
Yeah man, I loved the whole idea of the game and I really wanted to play it, but it was just too difficult for me. If I were to play it now, however, I might get further as I won't be so impatient as I was when I first played it.
 
Been playing it now and must say I am enjoying it.

MY party consists of a cleric,Sorcerer,Barbarian,Druid,Rogue.
 
I used to really like Trokia games. Funny thing unlike Wlad in my old age *cough* I have lost patience with buggy games. That likely has something to do with being spoilt for choice. Before I could niggle for ages getting a game to run, but now I get pissed so fast and then rush off to one of my consoles for a fix.

I now see parallels with Trokia and Obsidian - whom I have been bashing of late. Maybe I need to be more considerate.

Will try this out in the coming months. Thanks for the topic Tsar. Now I need to track me down my copy of Arcanum from a buddy :p

The game seems to run much better and I can loot now with out hassles.

And I was attacked by a giant lobster:eek::mad:
 
I played this a while back and was enjoying it but after a while the tactical combat got a bit much. Maybe my attention span is just shot to shit.

But be warned Phoenix don't expect a story like dragon age. It is more about the combat. But still very fun.

I finally finished the quest to get the amulet for the head of the church. Took me the whole day. Damn skeleton priest and guards with there long spears:mad:
