I saw you where looking at LOTR as well. Have to say it was fun the first week, after that unfortunately I got bored fast. I spent more time exploring than anything else. So much fun to see the various places. But I struggled to get hooked. Another nice F2P is Allods. A lot like wow, liked the story line and I actually still play it every now and then.

What Wyvern said about LOTRO is true. Beautiful scenery, so it is really nice to look at and the professions and stuff are a bit more interesting. Might go back to it at some stage, but not anytime soon tho.

Ah ok thanks for that info, I was thinking of getting it and trying it before it goes free, but I have heard what you have said before, fun for a bit and then gets boring, I found the same thing with Guild Wars
I played for a few months, but just got bored. One thing I never understood with GW was why it was actually an online game, I hardly ever played with other people, was often a mission just to find guys that wanted to quest with you. As for the PvP, that didnt really amaze me. Looking forward to getting into WOW.
