Grim Dawn

Hang on...

No. Sorry, your card statement is numbingly boring.

Please Crate, post some new screenshots or even a trailer so we can change the topic.

As much as I want it, I'm not yet ready to fork out that much cash to get a part of some goodness that has a small chance of not materialising.

That's what she said.

This thread is about Grim Dawn.

we are talking GD you can now seriously put down the dead horse beating stick, ow shit i've said something that's not grim dawn

Grim Dawn looks exactly like Mass Effect 2. The only differences are the plot, the characters, the perspective, the gameplay, the game modes, the setting, the genre, the weapons, the missions and the dlc. Apart from that its exactly the same.

I could say exactly the same about every shooter since wolfenstein, it's exactly the same, but only differs in plot, characters, the perspective, the gameplay, the game modes, the setting, the genre, the weapons, the missions and the dlc.

i really don't get it why some people need to beat down games that share some familiarities or themes other other games as all games do it. exactly the same with the so called repetitiveness, i've yet to play a game that is not repetitive in one form or other.

seriously if you don't dig the genre, the look or the feel of it then rather go find something you like or maybe it's time you try it out and see how it is without going on rehashing old repetitive view points ;)

:edit
you know what since playing games on my dear beloved apple II, after the initial great titles that brought us 3D (quake), proper RPG (baldurs gate), mmo (everquest) and related titles who broke out in their fields with "firsts". i would venture that those zomg initial experiences are in the past and nowadays it's more of how they can creatively put them "firsts" together which has already been used before.

you would also have to face the fact that today's release houses are more money and numbers driven over title and story like it used to be when you made a game and it really depended on how good your game is to be able to make your next game and not just release now and fix later with some huge patch...

LOL dude was ultra tongue in cheek. It's like I have always said. Need for speed is exactly like Lego Star Wars, only completely different :)

This games has piqued my interest but no so much so that I'm willing to dosh out the cash for it before it even sees release. :/
Waiting for the release to see how things pan out. *fingers crossed*

Exciting news today. This is what the character screen might look like:

LOL (this is a joke right?)

Very exciting! :-D do you think we might get a sneak peak at the credits? (holding thumbs) :-D

I actually am really looking forward to this. Would love some info on classes etc.

No joke, Cobweb, although a Grim Dawn forum comment that one of the slots could be for your porn collection, might be a joke; hopefully.

You should browse their forums; lots of interesting tidbits about the game can be found there. The developers continually post notes on what they are currently working on. Very interesting.
