The Witcher 2 Chat Thread

first town made me go wow, it's alive, it feels part and it's a whole new level of towns in game :)

it's pretty too :D

Couldn't agree more. I've actually still not left the town :o
I'm actually loving the atmosphere, talking, exploring. It's just so beautiful and alive :D

I did nothing except run around looking and listing at everything for a good time before going into the bar and starting the "chat". It was awesome :)

ATI needs to hurry the fuck up and release a driver hotfix for crossfire users. Game is currently unplayable, despite my system specs...

Spoiler: show
Can someone please tell me how the fuck I'm supposed to kill that fucking son of a bitch Letho? I'm dieing all the fucking time ! I've turned it down to easy and I'm still dieing fucking left right and fucking centre! I'm lucky if I get his health down a 1/6th of his full bar and then I still fucking die! What the fuck am I supposed to do?! Fuck sakes this is fucking pissing me off !!

Does anyone know how I can fast forward time? I've decided to buy a few things before I fight Letho, but it's night time and I don't exactly want to wait and hour till dawn...

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally defeated the the boss I couldn't :D!! It took me two days! But I've finally done it :D!!!!

So what was the catch? I didn't struggle with Letho though, he died relatively fast after i got a few heavy hits + aarts on him.

I assume you are aware of the huge importance of the Silver and Steel swords? Silver = monsters , Steel = People . If you use the wrong blade on the wrong enemy, you are not going to make a dent on them.

I struggled alot more with that bastard of a boss tentacle thing, Kayran. That was just an annoying fight, it is all trial and error. So you will die over and over until you figure it out , it's a glorified QTE .

Finished game, awesome game. Definitly replaying again soon for the other paths. Only missed out on one quest because of not being able to carry all of the loot around, so didn't have some of the ingredients from nekker's,rotfiends and bulviore's and there is virtually none in chapter 3 so had to fail that one quest.

Eish my man, I'm not that stupid ;). I do know the difference...
And I made it harder for myself because I didn't meditate before hand and enchant my sword. I loaded up a previous save and bought and enchanted the necessary things and went on to defeat him.

For me this was easy, I just struggled with my timing when you have to climb the rubble.

Got my new gfx card yesterday and I've been playing this non-stop (except for a little bit of sleep and going to work) since then. I fucking love this game, especially now that it works at an acceptable frame rate. Definitely better than the first game and my new favourite game of all time!
