Hows this for a fuck up of a morning.

Come into work, only to find that one entire side of the building has no access to the network, I checked the switches and everything but I just couldn't get my head around it. Eventually I figured out that SBS2008 has a tendancy to cause DHCP crashes... It's a fuck up sometimes :rolleyes: but thank god all is well again in the land of nod :).

speaking of networking i suspect the wifi card in my lappy is defective, it only works up to a range of bout 5 metres ! one of those broadcom mini pci b/g cards in my dell even at 2 metres i get a weak signal

Well if you wanna test it efficiently, then just get a Wireless dongle and ja then you will see if whether or not your Wificard in the laptop is fooked. I did that the other day on some Dell machine and I proved the theory...
