Lord of the Rings Online

If you were able to log in that means your client is 100% up to date. It doesn't update again after logging in, the game wouldn't allow you to log in if your client wasn't fully patched.

The quick updating part whenever you run the game client, before you log in is standard, it never updates anything really, unless there is a patch. Strawberry got it right, it wont let you log in until it is updated. If you get to the login screen, it is done.
 
I see there are quite a few people playing on Snowbourn... anyone playing on Evernight though? Would be nice to meet up in-game with some fellow South Africans :)

Nice dude :) Glad you enjoying it! There is just so much to now (even as a max level character). The Epic Story quests are amazing. Do yourself a favour and take the time to read the quest text (esp for epic story quests), it's very interesting. :)

Btw, what class did you take?
 
My warden is still lvl 53 on Snowbourn, I lost my game files a while back so my lifetime subs are going to waste. :o

Hey all. sorry that im sounding like a broken record but i need help with this. so i found a LOTRO shadows gold edition on BidorBuy. so i bought it. it arrived yesterday. the reason y i bought it was that it comes with a mount and some cool stuff. so when i went on to www.lotro.com and tried to open a VIP account it wouldnt let me because it says my CD key is wrong. ive double checked it and its right. any 1 have any ideas? the CD was new by the way. if any 1 could help me with this i will be in ur debt. :D

That cd key won't work anymore unfortuantely :( It's an old codemasters eu version ans since the migration of all the eu accounts over to turbine, any eu cd key won't work.
I bought my SoA gold edition about a year ago before the migration, so I still get the horsey and stuff.

You will just have to go to your account page and upgrade to vip there. Unfortunately, you won't be able to get all the goodies that come with the gold edition anymore
 
Hiya all I'm new to the forums ^_^

I play LOTRO on Withywindle Sever. I have a lvl 58 Elf Hunter as my main and a few other alts. I run the Eleventh Legion Kinship if any of you have seen us running around :P My char's name is Fainauriel.

So Rise of Isengard went live yesterday and after much trying, I finally got my client patched up and ready to go :) Unfortunately, I am going away for the week, so I can only play next week. But hopefully by that time the initial rush would have quieted down a bit! :)
