hey guys and guyettes

They have a thread for all the PC players, but i want some people on my battlelog for xbox... so if u have BF3 on xbox throw ur battlelog user name in this thread so we follow each other and join each others games.. :)

I'm still considering getting this game after reading that article about the texture pack that wont install.
 
Gaaty!! get this game!! its worth it.. mine installed perfectly and have had NO PROBLEMS.. :) well untill now.. i cant seem to connect to EA... but other times its awesome.. :) do it.. do iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit..... :D

The article did say that it was on the Slim Consoles with the 4GB memory. I have the 360 Elite still with a 120GB HDD. Still, don't want to spend all that money and then it happens to me. Murphy kinda has it in for me...

and thats y i use firefox.. :D but this thread is being derailed. :) where are all the other BF3 Xbox players?!? :)

Seriously though, I thought the problem stemmed from the fact that the game doesn't recognize anything other than an HDD?

So got some more hands on time this evening and there are a few glaring issues that is making it hard for me to love this game.
1: Nobody plays their fucking class. I run across a battlefield, revive my fallen comrade, drop him a med pack only to be shot down myself and have 2 different assualt chaps run past my bleeding corpse without so much as a look. U get points for playing ur class so frakking do it.

2: Yes its alot of fun driving around in a tank and blasting everything to kingdom come, and this is more a criticism towards the devs, give those not in the tank someway of balancing the damn match. Yes I know u can play engineer and its all good fun but Where are the remote det packs or something. I guess this again comes down to please not playing their class.

3: Team play. I guess this is what happens when you play with random ppl off the net. What ever happen to assaulting a location as a squad or waiting for someone to reach ur jeep before you race off.

4: Last but not least this is something all MP games can learn from Bungie and Halo, a skill system that matches players of similar skill levels is NEVER a bad idea. Go play any games and you will start off next to noobs just like you and as you progress you enemies will become ever more challenging, this makes the game alot more approachable to new players. I was facing off against guyz lvl 30 +, Im havent played a mp game in months and months, just look at my k/d. The game should see this and match me with other newbies. Getting killed over and over by someone 5 times your level is little to no fun.

All this is why I keep going back to Halo MP, I am trying very hard to get into BF3 as I can clearly see it potential but its easy to get disheartened.

You should be fine, I have the old arcade console, but with a 120GB HDD and installed no prob. I think it's just the 4GB console because the memory registers as flash memory instead of as a hard drive.
